Vase | Midnight Shore

This one-of-a-kind vase captures the meeting of land and sea. The upper glaze flows in deep indigo and midnight blue, flecked with golden highlights like stars reflected on water. Below, sandy cream tones soften into the raw clay, evoking waves retreating across a shoreline. The contrast of glossy depth and earthy texture makes this vase a striking statement piece, perfect for fresh blooms or displayed on its own.
Handmade in my little studio in Ōhaeawai, Aotearoa, New Zealand, this vase carries the rhythms of ocean and earth in every curve and glaze layer.
