Mug | Deepwater Drifts

This handmade ceramic mug is crafted on black clay, with flowing glazes of inky black, ocean blue, and soft sandy tones cascading down the surface like deep-sea currents. The drips create a natural sense of movement, giving the piece tidal energy and depth. Inside, the glossy glaze shimmers with layered blue tones, echoing the shifting light beneath the waves.

Perfect for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, this stoneware pottery mug is as functional as it is beautiful. Handmade in my little studio in Ōhaeawai, Aotearoa, New Zealand, it is food safe, dishwasher safe, and designed for everyday enjoyment.
