Utensil Jar | Sunset Storm

This utensil jar is glazed in layered bands of gold, teal, indigo, and earthy purple, inspired by the drama of a storm breaking at sunset. The flowing glaze captures both turbulence and light, like the horizon shifting from glowing sky to deepening sea.
Generously sized, it’s perfect for holding kitchen utensils, or can be used as a statement piece on its own. The combination of functional form and atmospheric glaze makes it both practical and striking.
Handmade in my little studio in Ōhaeawai, Aotearoa, New Zealand, this utensil jar is a true one-off.
